Blackburn Outpost Front Rack. Whether you’re travelling across town or across the country, the Blackburn Outpost Front Rack is the perfect platform on which to pack your gear. Made of aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum tubing, this rack is plenty light yet still remarkably strong and durable. The Outpost Front Rack is considerably versatile as it can be used on frames with 26, 700c, or 29 wheels plus it can be used in conjunction with most suspension forks so you can take your explorations off-road. Mounting the rack to the fork, too, provides multiple options. The lower struts can be secured via braze-on fork eyelets, but if that’s not an option the rack can be supported using an extra-long quick release (not included) for the front wheel that goes through the rack and the front hub. The upper strut can be secured via braze-on eyelets on the fork, via cantilever brake braze-ons, or via clamps (not included) if there aren’t any braze-on options available. And for the ultimate in carrying capacity, add a Blackburn Outpost Rear Rack (item # JB-ORR) to your bike as well.
