The Tahoe 1.5D 29er mountain bike is a glowing example of a lightweight, durable 29er hardtail that is adorned with amazing components to tackle any off-road situation. Its frame features A2-SL custom butted aluminum tubing that’s hydroformed so that the bulk can be taken out where it’s not needed, and left where it is resulting in a frame that is lighter, stronger, leaner, and smarter. Up front, the suspension fork is the RockShox Recon Silver 29 TK Solo Air with a tapered alloy steerer, a PopLoc remote lockout, and 100mm of travel so you can absorb larger rocks, roots, and ruts, maintain greater speeds on descents, and also get over bigger stuff on flatter sections. The PopLoc remote means you can disengage the shock with a simple thumb click so when a long climb approaches, you can take the travel out of the shock and increase your efficiency. The Shimano 3×10-speed drivetrain on the Tahoe 1.5D features Deore Rapid Fire Shifters, crankset, front derailleur, and cassette plus a Deore XT rear derailleur for super-smooth, efficient gear changes. Stopping power is provided by Hayes Dyno Comp hydraulic disc brakes while the Sun Inferno 25 wheels outfitted with Hutchinson Cobra 29×2.1 tires are all-around performers at home on a wide range of trail conditions.
