creatED® Family Engagement Kits, Moved by Math: Grades 6-8: Unplugged Coding

The Moved by Math – Unplugged Coding kit for grades 6-8 includes 3 visual, easy-to-use, project-based learning ideas—Visual Symbols Convey Meaning, Draw a Code: Codes from Yesterday and Today, and Follow My Code. These coding projects for kids help nurture curiosity, creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking through age-appropriate activities. They use a project-based learning foundation so students learn important planning, design, and creativity skills supported by family. Kits support single-classroom, whole-school, and district-wide initiatives and help fulfill Title I Family Engagement requirements as you also address the U.S. Department of Education Family Framework.
