The board sits atop a two-toned solid wooden cabinet with burled wood veneer, the game path adorned with gold foil-stamped accents. Evoking the high-stakes drama of a Monte Carlo casino, a recessed faux leather rolling area prevents dice from colliding with buildings or game pieces. In a display of opulence that Mr. Monopoly himself would envy, the die-cast metal houses and hotels are finished in glimmering golden plating, as are the eight iconic tokens.
