This is the patented blanket that covers a wood-burning fireplace opening to eliminate drafts through the open flue. Made from Pavenexu0097a fire-resistant, non-woven carbon fiber materialu0097the draft eliminator can be easily placed over the outside of a metal fireplace screen as the embers die out. The lightweight yet dense material minimizes hot air lost through the fireplace until the flue can be closed, helping to conserve heat and fuel expenses.
