Our metal suspender clip hardware is also perfect for replacing damaged suspender clips. Our metal suspender clip hardware comes in two styles: herring bone brass-plated and industrial flat black. Both clips are made to use 1 1/2 inch elastic. The industrial flat black is 0.59 of an inch longer and 0.22 of an inch thicker than the herring bone brass plated clip. Elastic for Your Suspenders In addition to our suspender hardware, we also carry a selection of elastic ideal for suspender repairs and custom creations. Made up of interwoven strands of rubber or imitative synthetic fiber, our ‘ woven elastic has 40 percent stretch and an excellent memory. We also offer sublimation services to add designs and color to our elastic. You can learn more about this process below. Sublimation is a process that virtually tattoos the ink into the webbing by turning a solid in into a permeating gas.
