These intense, pecan-dotted chocolate-chip cookie bars took us by total surprise. The creative bakers at Brooklyn Brittle call them a “uniquely crunchy snack” and we agree! They have the comforting flavor of cookies, but with a buttery, crunchy, flaky texture – kind of like traditional brittle. This flavor is on the sweeter side thanks to a generous shower of confectioner’s sugar, but it’s happily balanced out by just the right amount of salt (and as many chocolate chips as the cookies can hold!). Tip of the Tongue Soooooo delicious with a chilled glass of milk. Or, crumbled over ice cream or yogurt. Let your inner kid out to play.
