Transmit Notifications Distances of Up to Several Miles Back to Base Station The Dakota Alert MURS Transmitter is ideal for monitoring of remote locations like farmland, warehouses, and game trails. The motion detector is easily mounted to a tree or post and is capable of detecting people, animals, or vehicles in motion and sending alerts back to your base station or handheld device of choice. (Works with M538-BS and M538-HT transceivers.) The signal can be transmitted up to several miles, depending on the environment and terrain. The alerts are in the form of a spoken voice in English stating which preset zone featured the detected motion. Users can present alert zones, allowing you to know immediately where the motion was detected. The device also features 5 channels and 38 subchannels, allowing you to avoid interference from others.
