K-Tech DDS Fork Cartridge Kit Yamaha R1 The KTech DDS Cartridge Kits are the same as those found on the fastest BSK, Motor America and Isle of Man TT race bikes! Designed to completely replace your factory fork internals, the only components that remain stock are the fork tubes themselves. The result is a complete transformation of your forks with fully independent rebound dampening in one fork and compression dampening in the other. Ask any professional racer – a motorcycle’s front end feel is critical to put down a fast lap time. The only way to achieve the ideal front end feel and feedback for your riding style is to upgrade to a fully adjustable fork setup that will perform consistently under race conditions. That is why K-Tech has gone to great lengths to ensure DDS Cartridge Kits can take a beating on the race track. The DDS system uses a 20mm displacing piston that creates a high flow of oil through the 31mm control valve to give precise damping control. The patented Direct Damping System (DDS) design eliminates cavitation, making the system very stable, even when pushed to its limit. All K-Tech Cartridge Kits are precision CNC-machined and assembled in the UK.
