Nitron Shock NTR R2 for Kawasaki Z1000 The Nitron R2 Shock offers significantly improved response and adjustability of your rear suspension over OEM shocks. Available for a wide range of sport and sport touring motorcycles, the Nitron R2 is perfect for anyone looking for the balance between road and track performance. It features two adjuster knobs to independently tune rebound and compression damping. The preload can be adjusted with the included c-spanner on the standard shock or optional remote Hydraulic Preload Adjuster for instant changes to cope with ride-height, road/track condition, luggage or passenger. All Nitron R2 Shocks feature a remote reservoir, either as an attached piggyback or attached via a bi-axis hose. This feature allows for a more precise flow of oil and also allows the internal gases to expand, to prevent overheating which leads to hydrolock. The large 40mm piston and pressurised gas-monotube design soaks up imperfections in the tarmac to provide a more comfortable and confident ride. The gas tube and many other components are CNC-machined aluminium alloy, and feature a hard-anodised titanium finish. All Nitron Shocks are hand-built to order in England and are tested and measured before delivery. Every shock is tailored for each motorcycles specific characteristic and geometry, the only other factor is the riders weight with gear, so make sure you select the proper weight option above.
