Nitron Shock NTR R3 for Kawasaki Ninja 1000 The Nitron R3 Shock was engineered for track day enthusiasts and features 3-way adjustable independent damping. With 16 clicks of high speed compression adjustment, 26 clicks of low speed compression adjustment and 24 clicks of rebound adjustment, the R3 shock gives you the ability to fine tune your rear suspension. The preload can be adjusted with the included c-spanner on the standard shock or optional remote Hydraulic Preload Adjuster for instant changes. The feedback that a high performance rear shock provides is critical for any rider, as it provides the confidence to push the limits of traction. With such a wide range of settings to choose from, the Nitron R3 can be adapted to fit any riding style or track. The gas-monotube body and many other parts found on the Nitron R3 Shock are precision CNC-machined from lightweight aluminum alloy with a hard-anodized corrosion-resistant finish. The internal components, from the valves and rods to low-friction seals, are some of the same components found in Nitrons higher-end shocks. The large 40mm piston allows for a precise flow of oil to keep the rear tire confidently planted on the tarmac. All Nitron R3 Shocks feature a remote reservoir, either as an attached piggyback or attached via a bi-axis hose. This reservoir allows the internal gases room to expand preventing overheating and hydrolock. All Nitron Shocks are hand-built to order in England and are tested and measured before delivery. Every shock is tailored for each motorcycles specific characteristic and geometry, the only other factor is the riders weight with gear, so make sure you select the proper weight option above.
