Orion Tritech II-M Stabilized Monopod with Pan Head

This versatile monopod features a fold-out mini tripod to provide both the mobility and the stability you need for on-the-go exploration with optical instruments like spotting scopes, cameras, and L-adapter equipped binoculars. The Orion Tritech II-M Stabilized Monopod with Pan Head is much more portable than a tripod, yet it offers welcome stability, motion control, and support of optical equipment weighing up to 5.5 lbs. The monopod’s maximum extended height of 57.5″ collapses down to a nicely portable 22.5″ length. The four-section aluminum shaft sports quick-release leg-lock clamps for fast height adjustments. Thanks to its extremely lightweight construction, the 2.2 lb. Tritech II-M is the perfect on-the-go companion for hiking, birdwatching, or any outdoor activity when you need a stable platform for your favorite optical instrument without the hassle of a bulky tripod. On top of the Tritech II-M Stabilized Monopod you’ll find a 3-axis pan head which provides smooth motion control with 360-degree azimuth range and 90-degree altitude travel. The pan head features an adjustable-angle pan handle and built-in bubble level. Attach a spotting scope, camera or other optical instrument easily with the included quick-release shoe which features a captive 1/4″-20 threaded post and a rubberized, non-slip contact surface. A supple foam pad on the upper monopod section provides a comfortable grip, and a secure hand strap helps prevent accidental drops. The included fold-out “mini tripod” assembly of three low-profile feet provides additional instrument control and enhanced stability. You can even adjust the amount of flexible monopod tilt for optimal control while observing or photographing objects. What’s more, the pan-head and mini tripod assembly can be detached from the monopod shaft and coupled directly together for use as a versatile, low-profile tabletop tripod.
