Starting with a lightweight 2-layer fully-recycled polyester GORE-TEX fabric for waterproof, windproof and highly breathable performance paired with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish stops moisture and snow to keep the face fabric from soaking up water while increasing durability at the same time. On top of that we have a 100% polyester warp-knit mesh and 2.2-oz 50-denier 100% polyester plain weave with a DWR finish lining the jacket to add even more wicking properties. Keep the stoke level high with a helmet-compatible, 2-way-adjustable fixed hood and a soft, laminated visor helping preserve visibility to keep your eye on the prize at the bottom of your next run. A drawcord at the bottom hem and a fully adjustable powder skirt seal out low temperatures and keep elements at bay. For warmer days, you won’t be overheating with the available pit-zip venting. The Departer jacket has tons of storage space including two handwarmers pockets, one chest with a secure media pocket outlet, one pass pocket on the forearm, one internal drop-in pocket for ski essentials, and one zippered internal stash pocket with a key clip.
