Strapworks’ Sports Belt made with Lightweight Polypropylene and Plastic Cam Buckle. Lightweight polypropylene webbing 1-1/2 inch has a breaking strength of 900 pounds with a thickness of 0.04 of an inch. Plastic Cam Buckles are not rated.Our Sports Belts are made with Lightweight Polypropylene webbing because it is the only material that will allow the plastic cam buckles to work properly. This makes it an excellent belt to wear in the outdoors and/or in wet conditions, because the polypropylene webbing has a low water absorption, and excellent UV protection. Then you add the plastic cam buckle that will not rust or corrode and what more could you ask for in a belt? I know, it is Airport safe as well!
