St. George Spirits St. George Botanivore Gin (750 mL)

We’re not just omnivores and herbivores (or even carnivores) here at Mouth. We’re taking a nod from St. George’s gin and going full “botanivore.” Prepare for a mouthful of flowers in bloom. Botanivore is infused with a stunning blend of 19 botanicals: Angelica root, bay laurel, bergamot peel, black peppercorn, caraway, cardamom, cilantro, cinnamon, citra hops, coriander, dill seed, fennel seed, ginger, juniper berries, lemon peel, lime peel, orris root, Seville orange peel and star anise. What more do you need? The distillers love gin so much they couldn’t make just one. Instead, they crafted three, each with a distinctive blend of botanicals. The trio of Dry Rye, Terroir and Botanivore makes a great gift for gin drinkers – stunning and affordable. St. George can’t always keep up with demand so when all three are available, we recommend snatching them up! tip of the tongue Botanivore shines in an herb-garden inspired cocktail from St. George, the Botanical Smash: Muddle fresh mint and tarragon with 1/2 teaspoon sugar (superfine if you’ve got it) in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add ice and 2 oz Botanivore gin. Shake until very cold and strain into a fresh glass filled with ice, top with seltzer and garnish with a whole leaf of each herb. Did you know? Gin can be infused with a wide variety of botanicals, but it MUST contain juniper berries, which are responsible for that distinct, piney, gin-y flavor.
