The Build Your Own RC Locomotive

This is the remote controlled locomotive that children construct from plastic interlocking bricks. The kit has 326 pieces that snap into place to form a 19th-century era steam locomotive with the hallmark cabin, steam dome, and chimney. The locomotive is propelled by a 3-volt electric motor and the infrared four-channel remote control sends the train forward, backward, left, or right on four rubber wheels that easily traverse over carpet or hard floors. Remote requires three AAA batteries, train requires three AA batteries. Ages 6 and up.
