The Easy Access Recliner Side Table

Developed for Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the side table designed specifically for reclining chairs that provides easy access to items whether one is sitting upright, or partially/fully reclined. The table is hand-built from pine into a clever configuration that includes trays, cabinets, racks, a cubbyhole, and a shelf accessible from any seated position. The front provides a slide-out tray for snacks and drinks while a lower cabinet with two shelves and an integrated rack stores magazines and newspapers. The rear has its own slide-out tray, an upper cubbyhole for reading glasses, and a lower rack for accessing reading materials while reclining. A recessed shelf beneath the top provides access from either side. Assembly required. Dark Brown. 26″ H x 14″ W x 20″ D. (41 3/4 lbs.)
