Effective in reducing bird strikes Most window strikes occur when birds see trees and surrounding scenery reflected in windows. Most of these reflections appear dark. The white Whispering Windows decals break up the reflections so the birds can “see” the glass and try to avoid it. Whispering Windows are white simply because it works best. They work because of the contrast between white decals and the dark reflections. Whispering WindowsÂ® are unobtrusive but not â€œinvisibleâ€� because the intention is to give the birds every opportunity to â€œseeâ€� the glass and avoid it. Eliminating the visible spectrum â€“ which accounts for most of birdâ€™s sight. Use several decals per window. They can be placed inside the window or out, inside use will last longer. To apply simply peel and apply to window, printed side out. Decals are printed on clear static cling film, the images are not cut to the shape of the design. This encourages a better cling and lasts longer. Decals are printed on sheet sizes of 4 x 4 inches and 4 x 6 inches. Each package includes two each of four white designs.
